ANXIETY IS NORMAL!
“Yes, right!” I hear you shout. But we all have feelings of anxiety at some time in our lives. It is how we instinctively respond to an upcoming event like going for an interview, a presentation, or even having a medical examination.
It’s a normal, and sometimes helpful, natural feeling of worry, fear, or nervousness about what’s about to happen that we all experience.
It only rears its ugly head once in a while and does not disrupt our daily life.
WHEN ANXIETY IS NOT NORMAL
BUT sometimes, it becomes a problem, when high levels of anxiety are present for a length of time. If your anxiety lasts longer than six months, it could be an anxiety disorder.
